So, I felt the need to make another cake, but this time for Father’s Day. I wanted to have a little more fun with this cake in the decoration department rather than focus on a crazy flavor. I decided to keep it simple with a basic vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream which I colored a light teal. Then I added a ooey gooey chocolate ganache over the cake to create a whimsical look. I began decorating the cake with edible pansies and some regular flowers from my garden. The result: a colorful, flowery cake that my dad will love.
